Nesta segunda-feira (05), o governador Jerônimo Rodrigues Souza (PT), em solenidade realizada no Parque de Exposições, em Salvador, fez a entrega de veículos destinados à renovação de frota e fortalecimento da Rede de Saúde Pública de 71 municípios do interior
Um dos municípios beneficiados foi Palmas de Monte Alto, que além de uma Ambulância zero quilômetro, equipada com tecnologia de ponta, também foi contemplado com equipamentos médicos destinados ao Hospital Municipal Milton Farias Dias Laranjeira, essenciais para o atendimento de Emergência e rotina hospitalar. A iniciativa visa ampliar a capacidade de resposta do Sistema de Saúde local, garantindo atendimento mais ágil e eficiente à população.
Além da entrega de equipamentos, o governador assinou a Ordem de Serviço autorizando a Secretaria de Estado de Infraestrutura de Transporte, Energia e Comunicação da Bahia a iniciar as obras de construção da ponte sobre o Rio das Rãs, na Rodovia BA-160, no trecho entre o Distrito de Espraiado e o o a BR-030 (Guanambi/Malhada). A intervenção para construção da ponte com 71,5 metros de extensão vai exigir investimentos de R$ 3,7 milhões, com conclusão prevista para fevereiro de 2026. Além de otimizar o fluxo de veículos, a construção da ponte terá um impacto direto no escoamento da produção agrícola e pecuária, impulsionando o desenvolvimento econômico da região, gerando emprego e melhorando a qualidade de vida dos moradores.
Com essas iniciativas, a istração Estadual reforça seu compromisso de promover avanços sociais e econômicos, garantindo uma melhor qualidade de vida para a população de Palmas de Monte Alto.
